Ms Maira Vicente Braga
Clinical Neuropsychologist
Maira is a Clinical Neuropsychologist who completed her master's degree in Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Western Australia. She has worked across hospital, private, and government settings, providing comprehensive neuropsychological assessments across the lifespan. Her areas of expertise include the assessment and differential diagnosis of ADHD, learning disorders, and complex presentations such as cognitive difficulties associated with mood and other psychological conditions.
In addition to her assessment work, Maira provides therapy in both private and government settings. She has a particular interest in supporting clients experiencing anxiety, academic challenges, ADHD-related difficulties, and trauma. Her therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based modalities, including Schema Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Maira is passionate about helping clients make sense of their experiences, whether through assessment or therapy—, by providing clear, tailored insights into their cognitive strengths and challenges. She is dedicated to offering feedback and recommendations that are practical, meaningful, and grounded in each individual’s context. In both assessment and therapy, Maira creates a safe and validating space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to better understand themselves and work toward lasting change.
Maira is available for appointments on Fridays. Referrals are welcome from GPs or directly through the clinic. Medicare rebates may be available.
